Student Membership Program
The Art Alliance of Idyllwild is offering student memberships program that has been designed just for students under 21. For just a year, student members receive the same benefits as those of a regular artist membership at a deep discount, with the exception of the Art Walk and Wine Tour (over 21 only).

Who We Are
The Art Alliance of Idyllwild is a nonprofit organization formed to enhance and expand Idyllwild’s growing reputation as an art community, provide opportunities for member artists and artisans to display their work, raise the level of community commitment in support of the visual arts in Idyllwild, and support the achievement of artistic excellence.

The Art Alliance of Idyllwild recently presented the Idyllwild Arts Foundation with 00 for scholarships at Idyllwild Arts Academy that will directly benefits Idyllwild Arts students.

Show Off Your Art
Each year the Alliance puts on a series of events for its artist members as a way to publicly market their artworks. Your works will be showcased alongside those of local and world-renowned artists.

Our list of art events for 2011 includes:

Eye of the Artist Art Show & Fundraiser, Saturday, March 12
Member artists create works of art around a theme for opportunity drawings. We hold a live auction of donated pieces from member galleries that generates proceeds for art education. It is optional for you to donate your art, and is a wonderful opportunity to break into the local art scene.

Members Show, Treasure Hunt & Gallery Walk, Saturday, May 14
Guests are invited on a treasure hunt through the member galleries. Maps and clues are provided from the Gazebo in the Village Centre.

Idyllwild Plein Air & 3-D Art Festival, June 11-12
This two day festival allows visitors to view the progress of artist’s creations around the village of Idyllwild on Saturday followed by a hosted reception and juror’s awards presentation on Sunday.

Audible Art & Studio Art Tour, July 9
This event mixes the talents of local fine arts with local musical art. An amazing blend of talent comes together as artists and musicians like provide the optimal art experience in Idyllwild.

Juried Members’ Show, September 10
Over 75 member artists submit their works for jurying. Awards in photography, abstract, representation and three-dimensional work are given as well as Artists’ and People’s Choice awards.

Annual Art Walk and Wine Tasting (over 21 only), October 8
This is our most popular event of the year which typically draws some two thousand visitors who stroll from gallery to gallery while enjoying wine tastings and live music at the galleries. Proceeds are committed to art education.

Saturday Morning Art Cafés, last Saturday of June, July, August, and September
A different gallery hosts this educational event, generally on the last Saturday of each of the summer months from 9am to 12pm. Galleries invite local artists to demonstrate techniques and processes in a casual environment.
